In the first phase, the principal responsibility of the manager Technical Presales in China would be:
- Cooperate with country manager to maintain and develop the partnership with local companies:
- technology deep dives,
- ecosystem walk through,
- Network sizing and P&L presentations.
In parallel and during both phases, the manager Technical Presales shall:
- Improve technical relationships with strategic and/or global ecosystem players (component providers, module makers, device and solution makers) in order to develop availability of local solutions, selected/strategic channels and customers with regards of the technical parts of technical pre-sales activities. It can be either for technical adaptation of an already existing IoT Solution or for the design or implementation of new IoT Solution
- Apply best practices, tools, processes and methodologies provided by the Pre-Sales Support practices team.
- Providing feedback to enhance practices Technical Presales is the local technical authority. TPS shall master all aspects of technology (from radio design to cloud development) in order to make sure that all the products are connected firmly by the support of the brand.
So, TPS take the responsibility to make sure that the SO:
- has the sufficient knowledge of technology, its offer and products include,
- is to technically guarantee the qualification of SO partners that can be part of the local ecosystems (test houses…)
- to make sure that the projects of customers or channels can satisfy the value proposition and complies of technology with SO development strategy
Present in details offering, especially its new services,
- promote existing solutions to channels and customers
- provide support from expertise or ask qualified partners to perform technical adaptation (if any) of an existing IoT solution faces to local constraints (including certification)
- offer certification within countries
- provide support from expertise or qualified partners for designing solution cycle and lifecycle
- project management and organization
- customer needs identification specification cost modelling (connectivity, device, platform, maintenance, …)
- risk assessment and management
PoCtechnical partners identification production and industrialisation, certification answer to RFP or RFQ (including security - device, communication and cloud, personal data usage and regulatory / licensing, …)
The Technical Presales Manager will report to the APAC Technical Presales Director.
The quality we are looking for:
- The candidate would have the knowledge backup of relevant technology to foster local ecosystem development in their country. TPS will monitor activities, ecosystem development plan and consistency with sales plan as well.
- 5-8 year of experience in presales role with great customer value
- Strong capacity of tracking record of complex deals, particularly in IoT
- Sufficient knowledge of IoT solution, end to end design and particularly electronic design
- Strong ability to organize and work under pressure
- Leadership management and ability to motivate teams to achieve objectives.
- Strong communication skills and project management skills.
- Good at presenting.
- Degree or higher education background in Information technology, electronic, business/economics or equivalent
